Members’ Portal Experience for Araminta Campbell

We partnered with Soto Digital to support the development of a private members’ portal for Araminta Campbell Ltd, a luxury Scottish textile brand recognised for its hand-woven and mill-woven pieces grounded in heritage, artistry, and sustainability.

As the brand expanded its digital presence, the goal was to create a considered online space that brings clients closer to the craftsmanship behind each piece.

Our Role

We led the creative direction of the experience, working in close collaboration with Soto Digital and the Araminta Campbell team throughout the project.

Our involvement included:

Contributing to early concepts and experience direction
Joining project calls and workshops
Shaping the visual language and user experience
Ensuring the portal reflected the brand’s depth and attention to detail

The Experience

The members’ portal offers a personalised environment where clients can engage more deeply with the brand and their collections.

Wishlist – saved collections and future interests
Picked by Minta – selections curated by founder Araminta Birse-Stewart

The experience combines editorial design with refined usability. Rich imagery, thoughtful layouts, and narrative-led content highlight the people, processes, and materials behind each textile.

Outcome

The result is a digital space that reflects the integrity of the Araminta Campbell brand, considered, detailed, and rooted in craft.

A collaborative process with Soto Digital and a brand whose work carries a strong sense of identity and care.

Website Redesign for Bristol's Friendliest WordPress Agency

Soto came to us at a turning point. They’d grown, evolved, and were working towards B Corp certification, but their website hadn’t kept up. It no longer reflected who they’d become.

They needed something that felt intuitive, told their story clearly, and made an immediate impression. As a WordPress agency, they also wanted to stand out visually in a crowded space.

What we could see that they couldn’t was their warmth. The confidence they bring to client consultations. Their genuine commitment to getting things done. We helped them lean into that, positioning themselves as Bristol’s friendliest WordPress agency, and built a website that made it unmistakable from the first scroll.

The design challenge was balancing that friendliness with the professionalism their clients expect. Having worked alongside them on client projects, we understood how they operate. That inside view made all the difference.

The result was a website their audience finally got. It gave Soto the clarity and confidence to carry that identity further, into email signatures, business cards, and everything in between. Joined up, consistent, and something they’re genuinely proud of.

The European Society of Pathology

A Fresh Digital Identity for a Global Leader in Pathology

The European Society of Pathology had just completed a major rebrand. As an organisation, it plays a central role in advancing pathology across Europe, supporting research, education and high-quality diagnostic practice. But their digital presence no longer reflected the scale or ambition of their work.

They needed something that could.

We worked alongside the team at Soto Digital to translate the new brand into a clear, flexible digital experience, two websites in total. One for the society itself, and one for the European Congress of Pathology, the world’s largest annual pathology congress, welcoming more than 5,000 delegates from across the globe each year.

What struck us most was the scale of the community ESP supports. Thousands of clinicians, researchers and specialists, connected by a shared commitment to improving patient care. The challenge was making large volumes of complex information feel coherent and easy to navigate for such a broad audience.

We developed a design approach that could hold everything: scientific resources, member services, congress updates and news, while keeping the experience intuitive. Careful use of layout, hierarchy and visual rhythm guides visitors through the content without overwhelming them.

Behind the scenes, the platform works hard too. It integrates with the society’s membership system and supports personalised content for different users. But from the visitor’s perspective, the experience feels simple and seamless.

The result is two websites that reflect the professionalism and international reach of the organisation. A digital presence that brings clarity to a complex field, and gives the European Society of Pathology a platform built to grow with its community.

Clarity Across Channels

A design system for Moneyhub, built to work across print, digital and physical formats.

Moneyhub operate in a space where the ideas are complex and the audience is informed. The work needed to communicate clearly without oversimplifying. Confident, but not intimidating.

That meant creating something flexible enough to stretch across LinkedIn carousels, white papers and exhibition stand graphics, while staying visually consistent throughout.

Carousel content guides readers through ideas in digestible steps. White papers balance depth with readability. Exhibition graphics take the same system into physical space, holding their own in a busy environment.

One visual language, a lot of different rooms.

Immersive by Design

A print campaign for Gartenart, who design and build natural swimming ponds.

The starting point: how do you capture the feeling of swimming in a natural pond on a printed page? Gartenart’s ponds bring water, planting and landscape together into something that feels genuinely restorative, and we wanted the ads to do the same.

Aerial perspectives draw the eye into the water. Typography follows its movement. Colours come straight from the ponds themselves.

The finished ads feel more like an invitation than a sales pitch. Exactly what Gartenart were after.

A Visual Identity Rooted in Agroecology

UK Fruit and Vegetable Coalition

In a climate of rising costs, supply chain uncertainty and growing demand for sustainable farming, the case for supporting local, agroecological growers has never been stronger. The UK Fruit and Vegetable Coalition brings together organisations working towards that future. As their shared voice grew louder, they needed something simple but powerful to represent who they are and what they stand for. A visual identity that felt grounded, credible and collective.

We worked with the coalition to create a logo that could carry the weight of a long name and still feel clear and recognisable. The design was shaped by three core ideas. Using colours rooted in natural ecosystems, celebrating local and seasonal produce, and reflecting a spirit of fairness, solidarity and collaboration. We explored a range of directions, keeping the process open and inclusive, before refining a final concept that brought these elements together with clarity and care.

The finished mark gives the coalition a visual identity they can stand behind. It captures the values they share and gives them a symbol of unity as they continue to advocate for better food systems. A small but meaningful step in helping this vital movement grow.

A New Identity for a New Chapter

The Freedom Club

As The Freedom Club expanded its offer, it found itself out of step with its own identity. What began as a simple community had grown into something more ambitious. A place where professionals come to take control of their finances, build sustainable income and design life on their own terms. But the old brand didn’t reflect that. It felt vague and outdated, and it didn’t give people a clear sense of what The Freedom Club stood for or what it could help them achieve.

We worked with Hazel and Dennis, the founders, to create a new identity and website that would meet the moment. Something fresh and energetic, but grounded in meaning. The design centres on a vibrant teal, echoing the sea and its connection to freedom, paired with friendly, informal typography that keeps the tone accessible. At the heart of the new logo is a spark, representing the start of a new direction, a breakthrough or a shift in mindset. It is a simple idea, but one that captures the essence of what The Freedom Club is about.

The result is a brand that brings clarity and confidence to every part of the experience. It helps the team tell their story more clearly, connect with the right people, and support a growing community with a stronger sense of purpose. A new foundation for everything that comes next.

Nitrogen doesn’t often make headlines but its impact is everywhere. From air pollution and river health to climate change and biodiversity loss, this invisible element is causing visible damage. The Sustainable Nitrogen Alliance came to us with a challenge: how do you make something this complex feel urgent, important and actionable?

Working closely with their team, we helped shape a policy briefing that would do just that. Drawing on in depth research from IEEP UK and Aether, and recommendations from the Nutrient Management Expert Group, we transformed technical insight into a clear and compelling story. One that cuts through policy noise and makes a strong case for change.

The result is a publication designed not just to inform but to influence, a tool for campaigners, advisors and decision makers working towards an integrated strategy that puts nitrogen on the map.

Soil Association

Fruit and vegetable production in England is under pressure from all sides. Rising costs, low profit margins, labour shortages and increasingly unpredictable weather have left many growers struggling to stay afloat. The Soil Association had a clear and urgent message to share, with a detailed roadmap for how government policy could help build a fairer, healthier and more resilient horticulture sector. What they needed was a way to bring that story to life.

We worked closely with their team to turn the report into a visually rich, highly readable printed publication. We designed the layout, created and sourced illustrations, selected photography, and developed infographics that helped unpack the data. The goal was to make the content not only easier to absorb, but more engaging and persuasive – something that could cut through noise and help shift the conversation.

The final brochure gives weight and clarity to the Soil Association’s case for change. It connects policy recommendations with real-world stories and practical solutions, making a complex issue feel both tangible and actionable. A tool to support growers, inform policymakers and inspire better decisions for the future of food.

Inspiring young people to build meaningful connections with nature.

The Ernest Cook Trust is a wonderful educational charity with seven decades of experience. They are passionate about inspiring young people and believe that everyone should have the chance to be fascinated and enthralled by nature.

Our brief was to create a two minute animation that captured the essence of The Green Influencers Scheme and aimed to kindle a passion for environmental conservation in viewers, empowering them to get involved and make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Our aim was to weave together a vibrant and captivating animation that brought the story of The Green Influencers Scheme to life in a truly inspiring way. It was important to not only showcase the positive and transformative experiences of the scheme but also highlight the incredible outcomes it has achieved.
